AP scores considered in admissions?

I have been wondering this for a while, and I need to clear this up: are AP SCORES considered in the admission process? I have taken 3 AP courses my junior year but took 2 AP tests, and plan to send only one of my scores that can merit me credit.

The question I am trying to ask is, will the college consider at how many AP COURSES I took as a apart of my academic rigor or only the one that will grant me college credit?

I just don't want colleges to think, why did that girl take 3 AP classes, but only submit one test score?

THANKS SO MUCH GUYS :)

Top schools use AP scores to provide context to your grades in the corresponding AP classes. If, for example, you have all A’s but poor AP scores, your A’s will mean less. If you do not submit scores for your AP classes, colleges may be suspicious about why. They are not as important as the other standardized tests, though.

So silverturtle… You think I should submit all my scores?

What are your scores?

4 in apush
3 in eng Lang (I know that’s rough) I thought I did a lot better

I generally recommend reporting anything 3 or higher.

Thanks so much!
