<p>I have an outside recommendation from a summer program listed on my portal as a "loose recommendation" (with the name of the recommender listed, too) under Other Materials. </p>
<p>I also have something listed as "additional information (2)" which I suspect may be my transcript from a local college. I'm not sure what the (2) means though.</p>
<p>Well I sent in 3 outside recs and a transcript from a college, but none show up on portal and they were sent over a month ago. Should I call?</p>

<p>where did u see "other materials" section? for me, when i click on the "my application info" folder, there are only two catagories - basic and additional requirements. </p>

<p>by the way do we still have to rush our SAT scores from november even if they weren't what they hope they would be?</p>
<p>i called college board, they said the automatically rush all sat scores for november because they know about the ED problem.</p>
<p>and they're not lying. this morning i got my math ii score and later in the day my sat's got posted up on the penn portal.</p>
<p>o god. i sent in a additional rec and nothing showed up on my penn portal. i called the admissions office and they said that they dont confirm if they receive supplemental recommendations so i guess we'll just have to hope they did</p>
<p>but computersaavy says that it shows up on his/hers.......i've kinda emailed Penn about my arts supp and extra rec letter a million times already. and they always give me the same answer: check MyPenn. everything's still being updated. don't resend anything unless we tell u to.</p>
<p>but the thing is that they aren't going to tell you to resend your extra rec letter because its not required so they dont know if you sent one in the first place</p>
<p>yea i know that's why i emailed them many times about it and they kept giving me the same answer...not really helpful honestly.</p>
