Does out of state appicants have a disadvantage when applying to contract/SUNY school

Specifically im from california and wish to attend CALS but it being a contract/SUNY school, does it have to accept a certain number from NY, leaving fewer spots for non NYers?

any help would be nice?

wish to attend cornell and hope that attending an endowed college at cornell does not lead to a higher chance of acceptance.

no, there’s no specific quota they have to fill with NY students. as an out-of-stater, you should definitely just apply for the whichever program/school interests you most, and don’t worry about whether it’s a endowed or contract.

btw, the schools at Cornell are not in SUNY, but if you were also asking about other SUNYs, I have no idea what their admissions policies are, so my response does not pertain to them at all.

thanks, i just heard that some cornell schools were suny, guess they were wrong.

cool, thanks.
