Does Princeton look at writing section of SAT?

lol dam 1 point on essay!!

In most cases the writing score on the SAT will not be that important a variable. However, in todays extremely competitive application atmosphere, there are many who get professional outside help in writing the essay. Where an essay appears to have been written by an adult, I believe and have read that admission officers will often look to the essay score on the writing section to try to gain some type of insight into whether the application personal statement might have actually been written by the applicant or by someone else

yeah i got an 11 on the essay AND missed one writing MC question and got an 800. so yeah perfection's not necessary

haha pk i use the same strategy

dude i basically live right next to the admissions office i should drop in sometime and actually get an answer to that question.

they'll just bombard you with ambiguous crap.

lol funny adage.
"If you can't dazzle them with your brilliance, baffle them with your bullschit."

pk12313, I thought it was weird also! dammit...
Maybe I should write to them and ask them?
I will take the SAT again if I don't get accepted ED to Princeton.
But seriously, doesn't anyone else think the whole writing sction idea is dumb? I mean, It's supposed to help colleges get an idea of our writing abilities, but that is the reason the colleges themselves have essays on their applications! And the scoring of the writing section is totally subjective... They should have just replaced the analogy Qs on the old SAT with more MC grammar questions.

ya grammar questions are nice
