Does Running Away From Home Go On Your School Record

If I run away from home as a 16 year old and get caught, will that be written in my permanent transcript / school record? Will college admissions officers see this and will that negatively affect my acceptance?

I seriously doubt your school recorded it, but the only one who would know is your GC. Though extremely unlikely, it is up to your school on how to handle this.

No, this is a personal issue, not a school issue

The school only records if u were present or absent.

But drunk driving is also non-school related. I have never been drunk and have never driven a car, but if someone were to get caught drunk driving wouldn’t college officers see that? Or is that a personal issue also. (This is a genuine question and not sarcasm)

They would only know about you drinking and driving if you were caught and charged. The college will see a criminal record. It is not against the law to “run away” when you’re 16.
