Does Stanford care that English is my second language?

I got a SAT of v660 m800 w650 (2110)... I'm gonna take it again in Dec, but I'm wondering if it matters that English is my second language...

if you're not international, or recently immigrated, they probably won't take that into account since a reasonable assumption would be that you have been immersed in English for a sufficient while - but that's just my guess

Wondering same thing...my writing score is quite good (720), but my reading suffers slightly from language barrier (620)

I moved to the US 8 years ago. My verbal score still sucks. :( ACTs for the win. Not everyone is amazing at reading.. I think they'll take in some consideration, since you might not speak English at home and all that.

I think they do take it into consideration. 660 is a very good score for a non-native speaker. And being fluent in another language is certainly a plus.
