<p>Stanford website says that it does not offer any merit scholarships. But I have heard from several people that there are some kind of merit scholarships from Stanford. Has anybody received one?</p>

<p>I know someone who got an athletic scholarship, which counts as merit aid, I guess, but I don't think they give any other type of merit aid.</p>
