Does taking 5 years undergrad hurt my chances?

I recently switched my major at a top engineering school and realized that it may take me 5 years to graduate rather than 4. At my school, 5 years is somewhat normal, but I'm afraid that it may hurt my chances at getting into a top b-school (Harvard, Stanford, MIT, etc.).
Will it?

I'm an industrial engineer with a minor in management and a certificate in software engineering. Right now my GPA is a 3.55, but hopefully after the 5 years, it'll be a 3.70, with a GMAT of 700+. I'm also a pretty active leader (exec board on a philanthropy organization, editor of the newspaper) on campus. What are my chances?

It won’t hurt you.

If you are going to business school, then it will be more about where you work after your undergrad and your GMAT score.
Get 3 to 5 years at a large business with progressing responsibilities during your employment, and you will be good to go.
