Does taking a double core class one year equal to skipping one year of a subject?

Does taking a double core class one year equal to skipping one year of a subject?

Freshman year I took 2 maths & then 1 of the other core subjects (history, english, science & spanish)
Soph I took 1 of each core classes
This year Im not taking science but all other core classes
Wondering if I take 2 sciences sr yr itll count as 4? if i dont take math and or history.

For colleges I think as long as you have a full year of the subject they’ll count it towards their admission requirements. It’s completely different for individual high schools, though.

My HS wants 3 sci, 2 languages, 3 math, 4 eng & 3 history years & credits. APs at my school count as 2 credits if you take the test.

Going into my jr year Ive my 2 language eng math history science years. Ive 3 credits in math & history though. I took 3 math classes but 2 history though

Most colleges i like want 3-4 classes in each subject though. Wondering if i need a 5th math which would be ap my sr year? Also wondering if ap psych or a philosophy or regular psych would count as a 4th history/social if i need a 4th? Would taking 2 sciences in a year count as 4?

Bump please

I believe it does, but I’d maybe ask your counselor to double check!
