Does taking two online classes look bad when they are offered in my school?

Hi, guys. I am a junior currently taking online AP comparative government and AP Calculus BC. Both classes are offered in my school. I tried to take AP comparative government in school but there was no space in the class because I just moved to this school abt 3 months ago. For calculus, I had trouble with my teacher( she hated me for no reasons) so I was so stressed out in the class and decided to change my class to online clasd after talking to my counselor.

both classes are gonna be indicated as online classes in my transcript… I am very concerned that colleges are going to look down upon online classes. I would say online classes are same hard as regular classes.
I am very worried they will hurt my chances to top colleges. Is that ture that colleges don’t like/favor students who took online classes? Are colleges are biased Regardig online classes?

Any advice? Thank you!

Well, here’s my opinion. They’re both still APs. You have room in the additional info section of common app to explain anything you want. You could leave a note explaining the situation. At least you’re taking APs and challenging yourself. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. It’s way better than not taking the classes.

Thx… more insights? Bump

Online classes aren’t automatically easy just because they are online - in fact in many cases they are harder because the student has to take more responsibility for keeping up with them. AP classes aren’t easy. Stop worrying about this.
