Does tentative need based financial aid award count as a received scholarship?

<p>I am filling out applications for local scholarships and the forms ask me whether I have received any other scholarships. I have received tentative need based financial aid award when I was admitted early to a school, but the numbers are not definite, and I have not received any money from the school yet (of course). </p>

<p>Should I put the tentative award on the forms?
Does anyone have an opinion about this?</p>

<p>No, need-based aid doesn’t count as a “scholarship” - especially when it hasn’t even been awarded yet!</p>
