Okay, so I totally screwed up the first AP exam I took my sophomore year, which was AP Bio and completely failed the exam. The day was overall very bad, it was my first test (nervousness), and my parents were losing their jobs; a tough day to say the least. I still got straight A's for the course, therefore, the bad day shows.
Would this look extremely terrible to Cornell if I passed every other exam with a 4 and 5? It's even worse because I want to major in either Biological Science or Chemistry at their school, and I'm afraid they accept me because of that one score. Otherwise, my stats are totally acceptable for the school. That ONE score is freaking me out for next year's admissions.
** I should also say I did show a great improvement with great Chemistry SAT II test results.
Should I worry too much for getting into a major in the sciences for CAS?

can you just re-take the test?

You don’t have to report your scores…

The AP score is on my transcript. I don’t really have a choice in removing something off of my transcript.

Ignore it. So will they. This isn’t a grade. For all they know, you were sick that day, or you screwed up the answer key or just had, as in fact is the case, a really, really bad day. When you have a zit in an obscure location, do not draw a big arrow on your picture pointing to it.
