Does the state one comes from increase chances at all?

<p>Hey Guys! :) </p>

<p>Quick question, does geography play a role in college admissions? If someone is from a state that doesn't typically send tons of students to Ivy League schools/relatively small, are his or her chances <em>slightly</em> raised? I realize geography is probably negligible when looking at the entire process, but I was just wondering. </p>

<p>Maybe a little. But like you said, it doesn’t really play a big enough role to worry about or factor in or rely upon.</p>
