After sending a PM, I got this message:
“Private messaging is enabled only for members who have 15 or more posts. Please note that posts made in High School Life, Parents Cafe, and College Confidential Cafe do not count toward this total. If you are experiencing an issue that requires immediate attention you may contact the administrator at <a href="mailto:admin@collegeconfidential.com”>admin@collegeconfidential.com</a>. Thank you for being a part of our online community!"
Does that mean my PM wasn’t sent? I didn’t know about this rule 
Yes, it’s a new policy. The reason it was instituted is that spammers were registering and sending out many spam ads by Private Message. When we would ban one account, they would start another account and start messaging immediately. This rule will make it a little harder for them to send spam to members. It IS frustrating that the actions of a few impact other people!
