Does this Yankee have a realistic dream of studying in the South?-- Chance me

Hi everyone, I usually do not trust chance threads, but i will take a chance this time.
I am seriously looking into Wake Forest University, but am also considering Davidson College, Elon University, The College of Charleston, Belmont University, and Washington and Lee University (I already know this one is a high reach) with an interest of studying either Political Science/International affairs. I am currently a junior and will be starting applications soon. Here are my stats/profile:

Gender: Female
State of Residence: NJ
Race: White

GPA: 3.98 W
SAT: 1140 (I got this score with no prep. whatsoever, but I will be taking it again and am on track to scoring over 1380).
Rank: 13/124

Courseload:
Freshman: Algebra I, Geometry, Honors English, Honors World History, Art I, Physical Science (the rest of my classes are Bible, Health, Gym, and Career Technical Education [basically a required freshman seminar]).

Sophomore: Honors Biology, Cross-Cultural Perspectives and Services (a course revolving around a spring-break mission trip to Guatemala), Algebra II, Honors English, Honors World History, Drawing, Math Analysis, French I (and Bible, Health, and Gym).

Extracirriculars:
Volunteer at a day care center, and will be getting a job there this upcoming year. (5 years)
Member of and Historian for National Honors Society

Co-President and Co-Founder of Art Club
Timothy Group Leader (small-group leader for freshman, we can only do this for one year)
Astronomy Club
Piano for 12 years, with 4 years of performances at Carnegie Hall
President of Student Senate
Member of Class-Council
Member of Student Advisory Group (top tier of student government at my school)
Member and future leader of Girls Bible Study at my school

I understand that my courses don’t exactly reflect why I want to study what I do, but I have traveled a lot and seen the world (both because of various service opportunities and personal vacations) and I feel like it is my personal duty to help make the world a better place and to use my leadership skills for that. I will be connecting my college essays to some of the experiences that I have had abroad, and my reccomendation letters will be from teachers that have seen me interact with those cultures. I am also going to be having interviews with alumni from these schools very soon–ESPECIALLY Wake Forest.

Thank you again. Do I have a shot?

Hey! I was accepted just a few weeks ago for fall of 2018. I also have a love for different cultures and diversity and poured it out through my essays. You have great recs and I think you will get in!

Lol ECs*

I think if you interview well and write top notch essays you have a chance. Those are considered more that your test scores at WFU. Wake forest also encourages faith involvement not matter what your faith and also has big emphasis on finding your purpose and helping humanity. Keep these things in mind and you should do well. Experiences helping other abroad is a HUGE PLUS for this school.

I think you’re a definite YES to Elon, Charleston, and probably Belmont. I say this because I don’t think anyone from m y school has been denied from those places in the past few years, and there have definitely been people with less than 3.5 GPAs. If you interview and show a lot of interest to WFU, I think you have a good shot there, too. Davidson & W&L are probably reaches due to your GPA (everything else is on point), but its always worth a shot. You can interview at W&L either in person or over skype, so I would recommend doing that to increase your chances.

Also, Wake is test-optional, so if it comes down to it, you could always skip submitting your scores there.

I say if you really want to go come your senior year, don’t hesitate to ED. It really ups your chances.
