Does transferring from CC make you ineligible for the Non-resident scholarship?

My daughter will probably attend CC for one semester plus potentially take summer courses. Does anyone know if this will make her a transfer student and not an incoming freshman, and make her ineligible for the non-resident scholarships available?

It does not seem she will have many hours to transfer to WVU but I have seen several mentions around this issue.

I would contact the college for advice since the scholarships are significant if your daughter has good stats. My daughter got one that was listed on their scholarship page, but also received a significant scholarship from her college (Eberly) that we didn’t expect.
