<p>It's funny how girls give heat to fraternities because they hear(from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend who heard randomly, no less) about some (probably)false accusation of date rape while the sluts who go around to these exchanges hoping to get ****ed aren't criticized. Pleaaase, guys join fraternities for the same reason girls join sororities - to do the horizontal mambo with the opposite sex.</p>

<p>anyway, i have met quite a few brothers and sisters but like people have said it doesn't dominate. none of my friends come back from a frat party happy so i dunno, i went to one and it was decent. but decent is a vague term and an opinion so if you want more info be specific or go to that link and check it out yourself. and just remember there is more to being a frat than having parties, it is a responsibility and commitment involved.</p>

<p>I’ll be honest with you, lambda is hardcore. I highly doubt pledging will be fun for you (unless you’re masochistic) I had a friend rush Lambda…and lets say his hands were bandaged up by the third week. Both Lambda’s and Omegas are known for their severe hazing compared to the hellenic frats. They say it builds brotherhood. </p>

<p>I don’t belong to any frats, but IMO if you want to be part of a frat, there are options that don’t involve brutal hazing like these two. (there is also Zeta, a multicultural Asian one)</p>
