Does univeristy of michigan factor in senior grades in gpa?

Well i know that the application deadline is due by febuary first and official senior first semester grades will be out. I am planning to get straight A's for this first semester. Will that factor into my gpa as a whole? Making a new gpa for will it just be considered on the side next to the gpa of 9th-11th grade? I am asking because my gpa would be pretty low if senior first semester grades arnt calculated.

Bump I really want to know

Only if you send in a midyear report, which UMich does not require, but you can if you want to.

Ok so will it factor into my gpa like a full year would?

What do you mean by “factor in?” Most high school transcripts reflect GPAs as cumulative so in that respect, yes.

It wouldn’t count as a full year though, of course. Just one semester. So it will be your 7th semester, and thus would be weighted as 1/7 of your GPA.
