I go to a challenging high school and was wondering if they take that into account. Thanks.

what? like... if they consider the difficulty of your school?

Yeah, because my friend told me that they compare those people who went to UW and their high school to their present GPA at UW to see if that high school produced a lot of good students.

yes, they take the difficulty of your school in consideration. ie. If your school has a lot of high SAT scoring kids but low GPAs, theyll know the high school grading is hard.

Probably true if lots of people have heard about it. Supposedly they weight your high school GPA based on the difference in College/High School GPAs of students from a particular high school who matriculated at UW. Your weighted GPA is based on how well students from your high school did at UW.
