Was wondering if anyone knew whether Vassar keeps track of applicants who visit their campus and those who don’t? I’m an international applicant and I haven’t been able to visit Vassar before I would submit my Jan 1 app. I will be doing the alumni interview of course but I was wondering if anyone knew whether I will be looked down upon/penalized for not visiting campus and showing immense interest in the school. Thanks!
Alumni interview will be fine. You can use that time to make sure that the interviewer knows how strongly you want to attend Vassar. Also you can give that person any info that you’d like to relay to Adcom, in case you have a special circumstance you’d like to explain. Telling that person about your desire to visit might be such a thing. You can also figure out a way to describe for them how Vassar and you fit together, how you will contribute to the community there. best of luck
