<p>i know at my home flagship it is very difficult to get into the bio major and i was one of those lucky enough to get in when admitted. does WashU have the same thing? I know they have a great bio program so i suspect it would be pretty popular</p>
<p>Nope, they don’t limit the number of people who can take a given major. That being said - they do try to make sure that they accept applicants with a wide variety of interests, to hopefully avoid every student becoming a biology major, haha.</p>
<p>I am not aware of a major that has a limit… BUT there is a limit on some tracks within a major.</p>
<p>For example, the biology major neuroscience track is apparently very competitive (with regards to being accepted).</p>
