Will Willamette rescind admission if you get a D senior year?

^ I don’t think any of us can answer that question. But if the “D” happened in the fall, and you can explain it and assure Admissions that you’re bringing grades up this spring, I’d be surprised.

In another thread, a poster reported that Willamette had accepted over 9,000 applications this year, information that may have come in a letter or announcement to parents of admitted students. If that’s true, the school must have admitted no more than half of applicants, and possibly fewer. That means there was something about you that they liked. Hold on to that thought! I believe that every admissions department is looking for resilience, a student who can pick himself or herself up and succeed after a hard fall. Dust yourself off. Stand up. Move forward.

Just my 2 cents.
