<p>But for my class where it was 20%, I literally went to class just for the iclicker points and stayed on Facebook the whole time, spent about 10 minutes for each test studying and still managed to make an A on every test. It was an 8 am class that I would have rather skipped and just come in for the tests.</p>
<p>It’s annoying when you’re required to attend a class where you already know the subject material.</p>
<p>My classes all take attendance- then again most of them are ~20 people, so the teacher knows if we skip class or not.</p>
<p>It’s also in the syllabus- in my classes anyway- how much attendance counts. I know a lot of people dismiss that bit, but it’s actually really important.</p>
<p>Discussions, yes. Always. Lectures, of course not. Smaller classes, it really depends. It is mad annoying though - I thought I left that behind in high school.</p>
