A 100 in our school is possible, but on the midterms or finals, it is not.

An A is kind of hard on our midterms and finals.

Yeah, but it depends on the teacher.
Freshman year I had a teacher for math that wouldn’t give an A+ unless you got a 112% (since he gave so much extra credit).

@ my school it depends on the teacher. I had the highest grade in my AP bio class all of first semester[100%] and all I got was a lousy A. But then I end up with an 87% in AP Calc BC and got an A[not an A minus]

Only on report cards.

At DD prep, As are nearly impossible to come by. There has been no 4.0 grad in three years. The performance standard:

All Work as assigned: C
Correct and beyond asigned: B
All work in all ways correct and consistantly beyond assigned: A

No weighting at all, so kids taking tough classes take it in the teeth.

GPA bell curve pikes at 3.4 and drops like a rock at 3.6.

Really tough for merit aid or scholarships.

97-100% is A+

But… some kids end up with average over 100. =/ So they also get A+

I take Gym and I got 100 for the whole year
I got 105% on Science but I only got a 100 on report card

Yes, my children’s high school gives out A+'s on report cards. There is no set percentage for any given grade. Each teacher decides for him/herself.

Yes. In fact, one teacher gives A++ and F-s. The +/-s really don’t matter. An A+/A- = an A.
