Does your school offer credit for self-studying an AP?

Does your school offer credit for self-studying an AP? As in, do they give the bonus/weighted points for self-studying an AP. Do you have to pass the AP exam to get an A or something?

Absolutely not. It's rare for anyone to self-study an AP here (usually only because of schedule conflicts or the occaisonal ab calc student who's really good will take the BC test).

It is not permitted nor is credit offered unless mentored privately by a teacher. No one here has the work ethic, since most APs are already offered.

No credit, and it's highly discouraged.

How would they? Give you a 5.0 if you get a 5, 4.0 for a 4, etc?

I think most schools don't give credit for self-studied AP exams. My school doesn't.

My school does not. They will allow credit only for the courses available.
