<p>This is probably a dumb question, but when I was looking at the Deerfield "10 things that I love" clip, there were several dogs in the video. </p>
<p>Do the houseparents have indoor dogs? Do the dogs ever go into the dorms? (social area as well as individual students area). I woudn't expect it, but the video now has me wondering.</p>
<p>DD is allergic to dogs and if the dogs are allowed into the dorms, I would be very concerned.</p>

<p>Yes, some of the houseparents do have indoor dogs. A couple of mine had dogs, they usually just stayed in their owner’s apartment rather than running around the dorm hallways, though it happened occasionally.</p>
<p>Just tell the dorm heads of your daughter’s allergy, they will make sure to keep the dog out of the dorm. They are very aware of the needs of the students.</p>
