Doing CR questions as you read?

So everyone here pretty much uses this method but I was wondering if it always works?

I just did a CR section and online, TCB justified all the answers by providing evidence from something states significantly after the lines in question.

Meaning, it had a question based on a quote from paragraph 2 and used text from paragraph 3 to justify why that is the right answer. I thought most of you guys underline quickly before reading and then answer as you go along?

More likely than not, the answers to the line references questions can be found NOT in that exact line, but in the few lines that follow or precede the specific line references.
