So we are the junior class as of right now,,,, and we desperatly want to go to ND....

Any others out there?

Yep...probably won't make it to ND as a freshman (money/high school is gay)...but I'm sure as hell graduating from Notre Dame.

Future sports writer.

Post what you wanna do if you want makes it more interesting.

dont count yourself out ryan.... we still got time to polish those grades up and dominate those sats.......
and dito on the graduating part.......

Future Orthopedic doctor ... or teacher ... not sure yet lolzz

maybe we could post stats as well...

oh hey, this includes me too
i didn't realize there were were more juniors than chillin out there. hopin to go into architecture and attending the career discovery program there this coming summer.

oh and stats? what are ya lookin for in particular? i personally haven't taken my act or sat yet (feb and march will be the first go around for those).

ya i dont know about the stats thing... just if you want to share your info... like where your from..grades... etc

oh and i heard their architecture program is amazing... i'd do that... but im just about as artistic as a cockroach

hey.. tell me more about the career discovery program

do you aim? that might make things easier

basically a week and a half long stay on nd's campus. its a way for people to decide if they want to go into architecture, what it woudl be like, and what going to nd would be like. you go on "field trips" to see different types of architecture, take classes, learn about the program at nd..just basically a first hand way to experience college life at nd, specifically in the school of architecture. i absolutely cant wait to do it. just gotta find a way to pay my share of the cost

o wow.. that sounds interesting......ummm
As far as stats go here would be a good format-stole of off another forum..

4.0 GPA
6.0 (outta 6) weighted
Act-a 30 maybe?, cant remember sat but i think it was decent, im planning on doing a lotta prep for those though
a do a ton of work for key club-community service (i think nd has circle K, the college level of key club)
jv softball
the atmosphere-religous, attitude of students, somewhat smaller college

and you? or any others out there?

wow... that GPA is impressive.... dang...... so you have gotten nothing but an A?... does your school count A- as 4s ?

High school type: selective private jesuit 300 a class
Grade Point avg. UW: 3.8
GPA W:4.1

What you like most about ND: the strong sense of community that I expierence everytime i visit.... personal dream.... the prestige..... the academics..... the football... the intramurals... i could go on and on... but if I had to pick one.. I would say the strong sense of community... and "homeyness" of the campus
Scale of 1-10 how badly you want to attend ND in the fall of 08'- one would only have to walk in my room to see my passion for ND... blankets.. pillow sheets .. posters.. cloths.... random accessories that serve no purpose except for the ND Logo............so yes 10 o'course

whats ur source of that nd passion?
what kind of classes are you taking?
and my school counts percentages of 90 and up as a 4.0 but ive never gotten anything lower than a 94 as a final grade in a class so u can take that as u want

ahahha just had that last bit didnt u? hahah ummm this year my courseload is as follows

As far as the passion..... I guess it originated at the age of 5 when i went and saw a notre dame game with my father......
It was after the first snow storm of the season... and the campus blew me away.... Its the only thing i remember frm when I was 10 years or younger..........as i learned more and moer about nD...... I knew that is where i would go to college... But now the selectivity is crazzzyy........ wut about u for both questions........... oh and throught the 1st quata this year.. i got my unweighted to a 3.9 and weighted to a 4.4

just keep in mind, PUBLIC school. my brother went to a selective jesuit school, there are differences in the grading. my school is weird, we're on block scheduling, have 4 90 minute classes for one semester and then 4 completely different classes the next semester.
