<p>I was just curious whether pen or pencil is appropriate to use on paper apps. Also, is it possible to just tape on typed out essays, or does one have to handwrite essays if the app is paper only? Any thoughts would be great. Thx.</p>

<p>and id reccomend pen, just dont screw up lol! use erasable pen for the clean look of pen with the practicality of a pencil. the best of both worlds.</p>

<p>You absolutely do not have to handwrite essays - colleges prefer them typed. And always use pen in blue or black ink - someone's gonna have to enter your info into the computer, after all.</p>
<p>What do you mean, staple it? This app (Rice supp to the common app, if anyone's interested) gives lines to write on, but fails to state any requirement that it has to be hand written. Do I just cut out my typed essay and staple it over the designated lines?</p>
