done with the SAT

i feel so relieved! so how did you do? (not discussing questions here!)
math went pretty well. CR and writing sections went okay. but i think my essay was too short :(
i don't want to set an expected score though. don't want to be disappointed later on :D.

good job man....hope you do well. Anyway how do you usually do on the SAT sections.

i hope the sat math is fine. this should be my last sat. if i can get a 2100, i will have a nice sat score.

How was it?

oh sorry for the late post! i was out.
my practice test scores ranges:
cr: 620 - 760
writing: 620 - 710
math: 640 - 750 (pretty bad i know!)

hopefully i'll get the upper scores...
what about your practice scores? and what's your expectation?

one question: i wrote only a page for the essay!! i shouldn't be surprised if i get a 6/12, should I? i've heard so many times that length is very important for a good score...ohhh

I don't think it's that ridiculous. I wrote a page and a few lines on the second page during the March test and got a 9. It had two concrete examples (I thought) but they weren't particularly well developed. On my May test, I left 4 less lines of a full page and only had one pseudo-example (relating work to prison) and got a 10. As long as you felt you developed an argument and supported it, and wrote it well, then you should be fine.

that's good news. because i had two good examples to support my argument and the essay was umm...well developed i guess. hopefully i'll get at least an 8.

My essay was pretty developed, though there was one bs paragraph in there...It was a full 2 pages in tiny script and it was 11.

full 2 pages in tiny script? that's amazing. how fast can you write???

I consider tiny script to be, what, it's 1cm space between the lines? Uh, mine was about 1/2-3/4 cm. I finished the essay in March 3-5 minutes early too, while the person sitting next to me was about done with the first page. I had more to write, so I squeezed in my last line in about 1/4-1/2 cm on the last 2 lines of the page.

I guess I just think really well under pressure, because once the proctor said go, I automatically started writing after glancing at the topic.

yeah, my handwriting is a little on the large size, and I'm afraid it will look like i just wrote big to fill up all the space. but i thought my essay was decent, anyway.

i wrote till the last line in march and it was well developed and it was an 8...idk what i did wrong...and this time my proctor messed us up bc he was going by his watch not by the time in the wall (which was 4 minutes behind)...so basically i was in the middle of the conclusion when he called time...im just hoping i dont get less than a 9
