Don't freak out.

Guys-
I know you're all worried and worked up about when admissions decisions are coming out. There are no "reliable sources" in this- as far as I know, as a PSAC board member for the UofC, I (and one or two other people that post here) am/are most in the loop in terms of the actual admissions process and timing, and WE don't even know when decisions will be in your hands, nor will we know until you know. No admissions counselors would tell a prospective student this information, because it is not only private, but often impossible to pinpoint- the admissions office often only knows when decisions are going out the day of due to printing/folder stuffing/whatever issues. Please, both parents and students, do NOT call your admissions officer or the office to find out, do NOT e-mail them asking when decisions are coming out, and do NOT freak out. You will know, definitely, by April 1st. But, for now, please stop worrying, please stop dying, please stop spreading rumors, etc etc etc. Go outside! Go read a book! Go play with the cat! Frolic! Play! I know this process is stressful, and that waiting both sucks and blows simultaneously, but seriously, it only gets worse if you obsess over it. You will know when you know.
Much love,

^ Love that movie.
It is going to be a long weekend.

I'm not sure how much I believe you, but this definitely helps. Thanks a bunch.

Aw, thanks for reassuring us. :) Maybe I'll be a liiittle less obsessive now. I just wish I hadn't wasted 6 days of my Spring Break worrying already...

Thank you for the much-needed bit of reality-checking many members on this board, including me, needed. :) Have a good spring break!

I haven't gotten any sleep in the past four days since I have been stressed out about college decisions. ): I'm going to a doctor tomorrow to see if he can prescribe me something. I was so sick today I stayed home from school, refreshing CC for more information regarding admissions notifications.
