I've gotten to the point where I really don't know what I want to major in or do? Any insights or opinions in what I should major in would be appreciated. I'm currently an engineering student at a good engineering school and my GPA is 4.0. I enjoy the math and basically the challenge of the degree, but don't think it is what really fits my interests.

I am not particularly interested in designing things. I don't hate it, but I just don't know if I really enjoy "engineering" things. If I were to stay in engineering at this point I would probably do Civil, Industrial, or CS as Civil/CS seems to allow for the opportunity to try to start your own firm/join a tech start up ,which I'd enjoy the challenge and is mixture of entrepreneurship and engineering, whereas Industrial really isn't "engineering" at all, in the true sense of the word.

I am interested in the financial markets and am considering a switch to finance as a major. I really keep thinking doing S&T (Sales and Trading) at a bank would fit my interests. However, I've heard that engineering is a much better degree and many financial institutions prefer engineering degrees as it shows more quantitative ability.

This post rambles, but if anyone has any thoughts to help me out it would be cool. Thanks.
