So um yeah there are so many majors but most of them do not interest me.

I want a major where I will like it but at the same time make good money. I am interested in art, graphics, music, pretty much anything visual, and i might do good in business since its like a default major.

How can I combine what i love to do into something that i can make a living out of?

I have friends who want to do what they love and dont care for the money and others dont care how boring it is they just love the salary that comes with it however I want both

I dno what else to say, any feedback will be appreciated

In my research, I've found that often times (especially if you plan on going to graduate school or something) it truly doesn't matter what you major in. Music majors get into med school, math majors decide to be editors, yada yada yada. If you know what you want to do when you're older, even if it's the general 'I want to do something ___ related', then it might be handy to go with something in the same general area, but honestly the college degree in itself matters much more than what the major is. And in grad school, as long as you have the required classes for that program, it should all be fine.

Have you looked at going into advertising? That's visual/art, and businessy so it may be something to consider...

You should visit your school's career center and sit down for an advising session and, perhaps, take an employment inventory. You need to explore some fields to get a better handle on what you find interesting. And, yes, your major DOES matter to at least some degree, although it is true that any BA or BS will help you in finding a career, since the college degree tells potential employers you can learn. The more defined you can make your career goals and the earlier you do so, the more successful you'll be in them.

One option based on what you've said would be marketing or advertising. Have you considered that?

If you are not, I suggest you start out by taking classes that appeal to you. In your case that could be a class in music, one in multimedia design, maybe a business class and something else for the core requirements if that is possible at your college. After a few terms most students start to see a pattern in the way that they pick classes, and that would be the most logical choice for a major.

I seriously need some help from you guys!! so i think i want to major in forensic science but there are only a few schools in indiana that offer that and none that interest me! i was thinking about changing my major or getting a degree in something that would let me still work in the forensic science field i want to really love my job and i cant do the same thing over and over! any advice???

Don't worry so much!
You don't have to decide yet, and I promise you, things will change. Choose a school that you like and is well rounded. Take classes that interest you. Keep your eyes open. Realize that grad school is a wonderful thing. And take some deep breaths!
