<p>For the UC essay prompt that asks "How have you taken advantage of the educational opportunities you have had to prepare for college?", I just can't think of anything to write. </p>
<p>I wasn't smart enough for COSMOS or any of those nerd programs. It seems so bland just to say "Oh yeah I took x AP class. It taught me hard work and perseverance". (boring!..unless that actually works) Any ideas?</p>

<p>Well, have you taken advantage of the educational opportunities available to you? Maybe the answer is that you just didn't....</p>
<p>Have you read a book that you didn't have to? Did you research something you were required to? Have you done anything that has made you a more educated person in the past few years? If so, write about it.</p>
<p>Also, isn't this a topic for Winter/Spring 2008 applicants, and not Fall 2008 applicants?</p>
