"Mr (Blank), what if they did this on #53, do we mark it wrong?"

"What if they didn't mark a period?"

"I can't understand this!"

Or when it's on a completion assignment like research:

"They just wrote down gibberish!"

"Their notebook is messy, should I take points off?"

I mean for crying out loud, if it's blatantly wrong, then mark it wrong. These people whine over every last detail and actually seem to enjoy taking points off of other people's work. They should be hit by a bus.

^ Oh, I hate when teachers do that, too. I had a teacher do that all 2nd semester last year. It was BS. She didn’t teach a single thing all 2nd semester.

Psh, I do that. It’s kind of fun taking off points. Obviously, I wouldn’t make up a reason to take off points, but I do slightly enjoy the sensation of making a large, red “-1.”

Hahaha, well…
For me, if it’s an English paper or something, I really do grade it like a teacher would.
But that’s just because I have a thing about grammar in formal essays and spelling and such.
Don’t get me wrong, I make mistakes, but I think if I’m supposed to be grading someone’s paper and they actually wrote it like they were supposed to, I should give them some constructive criticism so they don’t think their paper was absolutely amazing. I don’t want to just give them a 100 if their paper was really not worth a 100 at all.

If we’re grading a draft and it’s actually for their benefit, I’ll make a few helpful comments (but not so much they see the red pen and glare at me when I hand it back), but if it’s a homework/classwork grade and someone tries to legitimately grade it, HELL NO. That’s so annoying!

This 125% describes my past 2 years of french. Half the people erase people’s answers and give them better grades than they deserve. So ****ing stupid.
