Don't wanna be obnoxious but chance me!

I'm a very non traditional applicant and I want to know how far out of reach my top schools are.
HS GPA unweighted 3.0
ACT 29
Reading 33
Writing 31
Science 27
Math 23 :(

College GPA: currently a 3.2
but working on a grade appeal and if all works out I will have a 3.7
Only took the most rigorous classes possible

My High School grades were bad because I had undiagnosed ADHD, Chronic Depression, and Anxiety Disorder. Once I got those in check everything fell into place. I work, I wrote a novel, I have extracurriculars: on board of LGBT group, Sociology Club, work as a Senate Aide.
I'm Hispanic

My top choice is Barnard
I'm also Applying to NYU, UMiami, USC, Emory (My dad is on the Alumni Board), Tulane (Legacy, lots of legacy) Occidental, BU, The New School. Transfer Apps are all a crapshoot so I literally have no idea. But I think my essays are really, really good. Chance me!

I think you’ll be okay! It really is a crapshoot like you say though. Colleges accept so few transfer students that even if you’re perfectly qualified, it’s hard to know. I’m in the same position and am also a non-traditional applicant in some ways. I wish you the best of luck!

We have the same high school GPA and the same ACT score! And math was also my lowest section. I think you have a good chance. Good extracurricular activities. However, your high school grades are the most important as a sophomore transfer.
