Hey guys, so I'm applying as a transfer student this year and I am currently attending Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College a.k.a CUNY Honors Hunter which has become much more selective in the past five years. My gpa right now is a 3.9 for the following courses: Intro to Biology, Intro to Chemistry, Intro to Psychology and CHC Arts in New York City (a mandatory freshmen requirement which discusses the arts of NYC). I'm finishing Biology and Chemistry lectures and labs this semester and taking an upper level Psych Course and another mandatory Immigration in NYC Class. My high school gpa was 99.84 weighted, rank 11/577. I received decent marks on my SAT 2190 overall- 670 Math 730 Verbal and 790 Writing. My SATS were really low- Math IC- 660 and US History 690. For my letter of recommendation, I am getting my Professor of the Arts class to write it, he knows me fairly well and was a professor at both Columbia and Duke. I am currently extensively involved in a program to teach underprivileged kids in NYC about Drug Abuse which I plan to use in my essay, am organizing a team to raise money for cancer research and am a volunteer at Bellevue Hospital. I am applying to Columbia, Penn, UChicago, Duke, Johns Hopkins and Dartmouth. Plase give any info you can on my chances and any tips you may have for the transfer process and transfer essay.

You like like a reasonable candidate for all. I would add one safety though unless you're happy to stay where you are.
