dorm closures during school year

As we are trying to work out the logistics of getting son to and from Marquette just for a visit, wondering when and if dorms are closed during scheduled breaks during the school year, like fall and spring break, Thanksgiving and Easter holidays, and of course, Christmas break.

If a student is unable to come home during breaks, due to logistics and/or finances, are there dorms open for them to stay in?

I'm sure this question has been posed before, but thought it might be good to bump it up for new parents/students.

Readily found on the housing site:

Thank you so much for the link. I remember reading something similar when we first researched Marquette a couple of years ago, but wanted some updated info. Glad to see that there is still guest wing accomodations for students choosing to stay during breaks.
