the 52,000 number includes a standard double, but how do singles, triples, quads compare in price?

i can probably find this somewhere online but a quick search didn't yield anything. If i find it, i will post the info, but if anyone knows already if there's a big difference, please share!

a single is $8150/year, double (and quad) is 7210, and triple is 6630.

housing.cornell.edu

double is 7210 and i think the single is about 800 more and triple about 800 less…something like that

thanks guys! that link is great… it seems like theres not a lot of variation
i dont think a triple is worth it!

For a single: add $940 to the total cost

For a triple: subtract $580 from the total cost

is it true that The finaid will adjust the award if you get a single?? a current student told me this on the web chat …

If you request a double and get a single, your financial aid will probably be increased to cover it. If you request a single and get one, it won’t increase.

if u have a triple, do u have ur own equal space and room as if u were in a double?

what if you request a single though? same thing…or would that come out of one’s pocket? lol :D

What wrong with a triple?

If you request a single and get one, your financial aid won’t increase to cover it. They base financial aid awards on the cost of a double room, and you’re basically requesting to pay more by asking for a single. That’s a choice you shouldn’t make if you can’t afford it.
