<p>Hey guys, so room assignments for freshman came out yesterday. And I know a bunch of people will probably just say stick with what you got and get over it, but I was just wondering is it actually hard to request a dorm change to a different building? Say to Yosemite or Sierra Madre? Those two were my top choices and I had done the housing application/payment early on, so I’m wondering why my room mate and I ended up in North Mountain Palomar. We were just wondering the likeliness of us being able to switch dorm buildings. </p>
<p>They open up for room/dorm changes a couple weeks into the school year (they really want you to try living where you’re assigned first). Many changes are approved, but it’s usually single beds in shared rooms which open up so it’s not likely you and your roommate would be able to stay together if you moved.</p>
