<p>I've heard various things about being able to switch rooms between semesters. However, the upperclassmen I know who have done it successfully had special reasons - one (allegedly) developed an allergy to the carpet in her room, and the other had a roommate studying abroad, so she would have been forced into a blind double and.opted for a single instead. I'm aware of the room swap application, but I haven't been able to find someone willing yet. For reference, I'm in a single looking to switch into a double in a different dorm. So, anyone here successfully transferred rooms, especially as a freshman?</p>
<p>If you find someone who wants to switch rooms with you, then you just have to fill out a form and you can swap rooms. You don’t need a special reason.</p>
