Dorm

Is it possible to switch after they gave me an assignment?...I mean residence halls...

Yes, I actually know quite a few people who were able to successfully request a transfer. The best person to e-mail is Christine (or Christina?) Craft. Get on the wait list early, and you will probably have success getting whatever housing you want.

If I accepted my financial aid for off campus and they give me on campus, will I be able to appeal the aid?

It's very simple to adjust your financial aid. Just fill out and send in the financial aid change form.

Karabear,
How would I get on the waiting list?

karabear; can u tell us more specifically??? sorry...

should I commit what i got right now? (triple...)

where do i find "Christine" or "Christina"'s e-mail?

and same as yellowcocopuffs "how would i get on the waiting list?"

Thank you ... :)

I think this is her e-mail:
ccraft@berkeley.edu

Her name is Christen Craft. Just write her a nice/polite e-mail asking if you can request a change in housing, and she will either immediately switch you or put you on the waiting list for that building.

I know about 6 people without housing offers who were able to get into Channing Bowditch just by sending her an e-mail.

Bumping this for people who didn't see it
