Now that daughter is accepted we have a question on housing. I know they gurantee housing the first year. If you want to live on campus is it possible for 4 years. Her major is Health Promotion and Disease Prevention at the Keck medical school so if there any preference in dorms

My son is finishing his freshman year @ USC. I believe they are now guaranteeing on-campus housing through sophomore year.

You might check on Parkside. I know that since it houses sophs in addition to freshmen (many of the dorms are for freshmen -- and a few sophs -- only), she might be able to stay there for soph year -- and perhaps beyond. I don't know.

There's a new dorm complex that's supposed to be completed in 2008, which will add housing capacity. (The landlord of many of the area apartments tried to get the housing construction blocked, to avoid competition/lower prices, but was not successful.)

At Orientation you can speak with reps from the Housing Department with all your questions. They've been making changes -- next year, for instance, the meal plans will change drastically. They will have info on this at Orientation.
