I’m an european student who wants to apply mit this semester and taken the sat subject tests today.Although it was obvious that i would ace both math level 2 and chem (The education level of my school is way higher than sat subject tests level) i bought barrons chem and math 2 and did all practice tests just to test myself and my scores were between 790-800 on both as i expected.On the sat test today did all chem questions and probably got 800 but the problem is that i realised during the math level 2 test that i had a calculator malfunction and DIDN’T ANSWER 13 QUESTİONS !!And that means that i have scored approxmately 730 on math 2 and 800 on chem,i know that i could cancel my test but the problem is that i am going to take the sat ebrw on december and would have no subject test scores to send if i cancelled it.MIT IS REQUİRİNG JUST SAT SUBJECT AND TOEFL FOR İNTERNATİONAl STUDENTS but i have practiced a lot for sat ebrw and score above 1500 on practice tests.I have already taken the toefl and scored 107,so that i have a chance to change my december sat to subject tests should i retake it or send my scores as they are?What should i do? Which would be better for mit 720 math subject 800 math chemistry and 1550 ebrw or 800 math 2 800 chemistry and toefl ?
I would say send your sat + sat subject tests. 1550 sat is excellent. I can’t comment on 107 toefl as I haven’t done it.
So isn’t an sat subject test score of 720 on math level 2 bad ?
The sat is more inportant than subject tests. If you can get a 1500+ sat i would say to just take it and submit both subject tests.
