Double major - Arch and Business?

Considering the usual workload of an architecture program, would it be possible to double major in some sort of business degree and architecture?

I'd love the input, thanks.

also, do architects really make a really low amount of money, even if you went to a top tier school?

Looking at the course requirements for a BArch it seems to me you would be hard pressed to fit enough business courses to do a double major, not to mention the workload implications. It might be possible in a four year program. My suggestion would be to go ahead and take as many business courses as you can fit in, but don’t feel the need to do a double major. If you like the courses then an MBA after a few years of practice might be a better option.

Do architects make a low amount of money? There are quite a few surveys online that you can find. However, compensation varies widely in the profession. The senior architects at the mid to large sized firms around the country are making a very nice living. The small firms, unless they have a unique niche, are significantly lower. Small practice does have its rewards; you have to choose what is important to you.
