Double major in Actuarial Math and Business?

I'm thinking of double majoring in actuarial math and business.
The question is....is there a point?
The two are pretty similar, so could I be just as successful with only one of the two degrees?
Here's the real twist...I actually want to go to law school.

Is this a good idea or no?

Another question might be will the extra undergrad business degree help me AT ALL in getting into law school? or even possibly hurt?

whatever keeps your GPA higher

GPA+LSAT=law school

^ I agree with FinanceGuy. If your heart is set on law school, choose a major that you enjoy and can get a high GPA.

If you are interested in becoming an actuary, the actuarial math degree will probably better prepare you for the state actuary exam.

The undergraduate discipline won't matter much for law school. You can major in poli sci, economics, business, etc. for law school.
