Double Major in Astronomy and Secondary Education with Physics Concentration?

I’ve been looking into the University of Arizona and I’ve fallen in love with what I’ve seen so far! My dream is to teach High School Physics one day but my next biggest love is Astronomy. Is it possible to double major in both Astronomy and Secondary Education at UA?

Yes. I know the education major here only requires 3 years. So, if you are dedicated and/or come in with a good amount of credits from high school, you could possibly finish your double in 4 years, but definitely within 5. Our astronomy department is one of a kind and I am sure they will help you structure your courses to reach your goals!

Thanks for the info! UA’s Astronomy Program is INCREDIBLE from what I’ve seen! I ran UA through a net price calculator and it’s definitely in my price range. UA is now in my first choice!
