Hey guys, I as just wondering if it would be possible to double major in piano performance and human biology and do premed at Stanford and still succeed? Or is this to much?
Thanks for your time, guys

Probably too much, tbh
It’s certainly possible, but you probably wouldn’t be able to graduate in 4 years unless you either have a lot of college credits coming in or take heavy course loads. The requirements for all the majors + pre-med are well defined on Stanford’s website, so you can look up the specific number of credits if desired. Also note that Stanford offers a performance certificate in music for extremely talented non-music majors, which has fewer course requirements than a music major and may be a better with your goals.
When I was a student, I started with ~the maximum 45 college credits (1 year) from classes taken while in HS. This made it easier to complete more ambitious degree plans quickly. I entered 2 co-terminal masters programs in engineering and business fields, so I was simultaneously enrolled in 3 degree programs at the same time while also doing the pre-med track courses. I didn’t finish everything in 4 years, but I came a lot closer than most would expect. That said, I believe you mentioned that you were a sophomore in HS in other posts. It may be premature to spend a lot of time focusing on which major(s) you’ll choose while an underclassmen in HS.
Agree with @Data10:
It’s always best to get the “golden ticket” before you make any plans…because no one can count on getting in…regardless, unless you are the President’s daughter…
Thanks , I appreciate it.
Stanford does not have pre-med as a major. see link below.
