Im thinking about majoring in poli sci but if i do i want to double major. Thinking about communications but i heard i should major in comm and minor in poli sci? Im looking to do something witb public relations and marketing. Any advice is appreciated!

good pair with Poli sci (in my opinion) would be economics or government

If I wasn’t doing Middle Eastern Studies with Politics, then I’d be doing in Politics and Economics.

What makes you think you will be better off with a double major?

You mentioned marketing, so have you thought about business? Most schools have a business/marketing major that you could pair with political science.

I’m thinking about doing economics w/polisci

Major in business/communications and minor in political science. Communications will be more helpful for finding a career. Government/Econ/polysci are relatively useless

Just wanted to add: In the UK politicians major in PPE (philosophy, politics, & economics). If you’re thinking about doing something with public relations &/or marketing why not double major in public relations or business? Also, psychology can help with marketing. As a side note I like the idea of pairing poli sci w/ communication. That’s just my 2 cents though :)
