Their Engineering programs are ABET accredited and so I suppose that their graduates do fine.
@coolweather @xraymancs Thank you for your responses.
What do you think of double majoring in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering?
No. I would not recommend double majoring in 2 different engineering fields. Explore the different fields. Start off taking all the pre-rebus required of every engineering degree…cal, physics, intro to engineering, etc and the pick the field that appeals to you the most. Plan on co-oping during college to gain experience, spend summers participating in REUs (research experience for undergrads), maintain a high GPA, polish up your interviewing skills…that is how you gat a job after you graduate, not by double majoring in 2 different engineering fields.
No idea what that auto-correct was supposed to be. Should read…take all the pre-reqs required…
It seems like you’re an international student.
@Mom2aphysicsgeek
Ok. So you are saying that if I double major, it will not necessarily help me get more jobs?
@NASA2014
I am not an international student. I am going to high school in California.
Two degrees is really only a viable option if it does not take you extra time to graduate. It won’t really help you get a job. Internships and networking are much more helpful for getting a good job. As @Mom2aphysicsgeek said, take your starting classes and pre-requisites and then choose the major which you enjoy the most.
Ok Thank you @xraymancs
